Founded in 1950, PTLA’s roots began with monthly meetings. These meetings were attended by trial lawyers whose clients included people injured through the negligent conduct of others. The emphasis was on education. PTLA continues this tradition by hosting monthly Luncheon Lectures featuring prominent trial lawyers who share their knowledge of the law as it directly relates to the plaintiffs’ practices. Approved by the PA Continuing Legal Education Board for credit, these program will help fulfill your annual continuing requirements. PTLA also holds yearly events to encourage networking and foster strong morale among members. Our Annual Meeting, Justice Michael A. Musmanno Award Dinner, Holiday Cocktail Party, and Golf Outing are just a few of the events hosted yearly.
