PA Supreme Court Opinion on Expert Testimony re. Eyewitness ID
for the opinion of the PA Supreme Court in Com. v. Walker (issued Tuesday, May 27, 2014), now permitting expert testimony on eyewitness identification.  While this is a criminal court case, it certainly has potential relevance to civil actions where eyewitness testimony regarding circumstances of collisions, construction site incidents, etc. often proves critical.  The case thus serves at least as persuasive authority in civil actions.
