PTLA’s Annual Meeting is a celebration of our members, leadership, and rising stars within the world of trial advocacy. This past year, our Annual Meeting was held virtually for the first time. PTLA thanked PTLA President Thomas Sheridan for his tireless work and dedication, and welcomed our 60th President, Daniel Jeck. Among those honored were Pennsylvania Association for Justice President (PAJ), Sud Patel, and PTLA Board Member Charles "Chip" Becker, who were given the President’s Award by Tom Sheridan for their leadership and help during these past difficult months. Recipients of the James J. Manderino Award for Trial Advocacy were also honored. The TAA awards are given annually to area law school graduates who have shown outstanding abilities in the area of trial advocacy. This years recipients were: Samantha DiGiuseppe, Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law; Jonathan C. Wilt, University of Pennsylvania School of Law; Nicholas Guth, Temple University Beasley School of Law; Kaitlin McCaffrey, Rutgers University School of Law; and Brittney F. Fredrick, Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.
Our next Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 15th at noon. Though 2021’s Annual Meeting will also be held virtually, it will undoubtedly be yet another celebration of PTLA’s accomplishments, leadership, and comradery amongst membership.
